Guest Mix No. 3: Huerco S.
Kansas based Huerco S. shrouds himself in mystery, preferring to let the music represent himself instead. His No Jack EP has proven to be one of our favourite releases in 2012 thus far, with its take on House sounding both classic, yet original. This mix takes a slower approach than preceding guest mixes, with more of a late night come-down vibe apparent. Either way it’s a mix we love - and we’re sure you will too.

Focusing on 135-140bpm business, there’s multi-platinum rappers like Rick Ross, Waka Flocka Flame, and Wiz Khalifa, alongside up and comers like Schoolboy Q and Main Attrakionz. Then of course there’s the Bass producers - Coni, Lunice, and Girl Unit to name a few. If you like your sounds subtle then you’re in the wrong place - this is a straight up, no frills, no bullshit, redline your speakers ting.

Guest Mix No. 2: Look Like
Based out of Zurich, the Swiss producer has been steadily turning heads with his Bass-heavy take on House music. He’s released material on the Get Flavor imprint, a rising label from France, as well as on Stockholm based Top Billin. You may have seen us post his originals previously - all of which have been of the highest quality, and immensely danceable. It isn’t just his OG’s that have caught our eye though, with his remixes similarly good, and as suited to the floor. So, it’s with great pleasure that we present to you our second guest mix, which contains some familiar bangers, as well as some forthcoming cuts from the Get Flavor crew. Enjoy.

Themed Cast No. 1: Australia
Australia, despite its rich and varied musical history, isn’t a place hugely associated with electronic music. This perception is changing however, with a host of producers popping up around this great, isolated landmass we call home. From House and Techno, to R&B tinged Garage, and Dubstep inspired jams, there’s a diversity here that’s as mixed as Australia itself. We’ve also included a few tracks by producers from our Trans-Tasman neighbour, and long time friend, New Zealand. So go on mate - throw another shrimp on the barbie, pop open a cold beer, pause the Hottest 100, and enjoy the mix.
