Gunmouth by Dro Carey

Y’all know by now that we love Dro Carey. The Sydney producer has been steadily increasing his reputation over the past 18 months, crafting a unique and varied sound, which has won praise from Pitchfork to XLR8R. ‘Gunmouth,’ which comes from our free compilation that dropped last week, is a Trap music inspired number, and wouldn’t sound out of place with Waka rapping over it. Be sure to grab the compilation here.

The People / The Scene / The Life / The Soul

A global compilation between four blogs. Four tracks from each party made exclusively by a unique artist solely for the compilation. Ranging from floor destroying bangers, to soulful Garage, this is the essential compilation for any music lover.

Themed Cast No. 1: Australia

Australia, despite its rich and varied musical history, isn’t a place hugely associated with electronic music. This perception is changing however, with a host of producers popping up around this great, isolated landmass we call home. From House and Techno, to R&B tinged Garage, and Dubstep inspired jams, there’s a diversity here that’s as mixed as Australia itself. We’ve also included a few tracks by producers from our Trans-Tasman neighbour, and long time friend, New Zealand. So go on mate - throw another shrimp on the barbie, pop open a cold beer, pause the Hottest 100, and enjoy the mix.

Captain Leon Harding by Dro Carey

If you’ve been sleeping on Sydney based producer Dro Carey - then you better wake the fuck up. Born as Eugene Hector, he’s a prolific beatmaker, constantly uploading new material to his Tumblr. However, he’s gone one step further here, dropping a whole mini-LP for free download. This tune is dark, edgy, and most of all perfect for late night listening. Download yourselves a copy here. Now.
