Let’s Make It Deeper by Gerry Read
If you follow Gerry Read on Soundcloud you’ll get little snippets of tunes which are frustratingly unfinished, i.e. this one. This would probably lead you to think he’s incapable of finishing anything, which thankfully would be an incorrect assumption. In fact Read is more than capable of finishing tunes, with his Discogs page revealing a plethora of releases over the past two years - not bad for someone still unable to drink legally in many American states. ‘Let’s Make It Deeper’ has Read’s characteristically lo-fi sound and is an absolute jam. What more do we need to say? Essential listening.
