Midnight Request Line (Mista Men Bootleg) by Skream

We’ve always found Skream’s output to be hit-and-miss, but that’s because we never really grew up during the peak of Dubstep - when DMZ, Benga, Skream, and generally everyone in Croydon was doing it real big. You can say the same for UK Garage/Bassline, but we’ve always had a soft spot for that stuff through its cheesier exports (lookin’ at you, Shanks and Bigfoot). Slowing the 140BPM roll to a more groovy 130BPM, Mista Men throw in some rather Palace-like bleeps alongside that monstrous low-end, while retaining the OG’s timeless build-up. Regardless of what you might think of Skream’s stuff, this is one heck of a bootleg.
