Obsidian (Randomer Remix) by Aquarian

The mysterious Brooklyn-based Aquarian has been turning heads over the last couple of months with the handful of tracks he’s unraveled to the world. Showcasing a history immersed in hard-hitting Jungle, Acid Techno and prime-time Rave, it’s in stark contrast to much of the melodic output that UNO NYC (the label that’s tapped him for his debut EP) has put out over the last few years. Going by what we’ve heard on the remix, the OG appears to be rather heady on the bass/murky levels, so Randomer’s gritty and destructive production technique sits right at home. Despite not knowing too much about the man or his first release, we’ll be waiting with bated breath for it come the end of October. Don’t sleep on this.
