Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the last few months, the name Jeremy Rose will probably be familiar to you - especially if you’re partial to a certain R&B crooner. Had this R&B crooner not fucked Rose over just as the hype machine went into full swing, Rose wouldn’t have found himself in the unfortunate situation he was thrown in. However, we believe that some curses do end up being blessings in disguise: Rose is finally getting his voice heard, and on an appropriate label like Jacques Greene’s Vase. While we think this particular cut would have worked well with a voice gracing its presence - helping to complement the astral keys, wistful guitar and looped soul voice, it sounds just as good without.
