Just Me & U by Norrit
Besides a lot of the artists we cover on this blog, we rinse quite a lot of contemporary R&B here in the Generic People headquarters. T-Pain is no exception, and over the years we’ve taken a shine to his smooth, auto-tuned pop. So you can imagine our delight when we woke up to a sneaky little refix of ‘Can’t Believe It’ done by Norrit - one of our favourite producers of late. The original is slowed down considerably and layered with smooth, bubbling synths and low-end, making for an interesting twist to the R&B hit.
