Softly Softly by Mickey Pearce
Mickey Pearce (real name: Richard Attley) delivered the gigantic Don’t Ask Don’t Get / I am 12” back in January as we’re sure you’ll no doubt remember. Evidently not satisfied with just the one massive 12” in 2012, he’s duly followed his Swamp81 effort with this one, Tempted / Softly Softly. Dropping on Ten Thousand Yen this Friday, it’s everything you’d expect from a producer who seems to have really found his sound under the Pearce moniker (you may remember Attley for his previous work as Shortstuff). We should also add that unlike the name may suggest, there’s nothing ‘soft’ about this one - in fact it’s possibly the polar opposite. Enjoy.
