One Night by Fort Romeau

100% Silk get the sort of press coverage that most labels can only dream of. Whatever the reason for this (we won’t speculate), they do release some genuinely good music, and this LP is no exception. Kingdoms is Fort Romeau’s debut, though the London based producer doesn’t just make House music, he also doubles as La Roux’s keyboardist. It’s an interesting LP, albeit a relatively short one, which stays in a relaxed vein throughout. We’re tipping Pitchfork will be all over this one, so grab it now before they are, and boast to your friends about how ahead you are.
